Texas Hippie Coalition front man Big Dad Ritch is bringing his unique style and larger than life personality to the country world. Listening to what BDR has done with the music of THC, it is obvious he is influenced heavily by the outlaws of classic country music. He counts legends like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, & Willie Nelson as some of his biggest influences. BDR is sticking close to his roots with his upcoming country music album, “Six Shot Shooter”, featuring a storytelling style rooted in the Red River and Red Dirt fashion. He’s the man that brought cowboy hats back to Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa. He’s the man that chose pearl snaps over baseball caps. And he’s the man that has a scar the size of a silver dollar on his right shoulder (which he received from a mad bull after a 7-second ride, or a gunshot wound from a mad Vaquero, depending on who he’s telling or how many drinks he’s had).
