Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown Debut Full-Length Wild Child Out January 22 (Carved Records) Late Night TV Debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! November 8th
“Expect an action-packed stack of bluesy blasts, rooted in the past but crackling with the excitement of the here and now.” – Guitar World
Nashville-based rock band Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown will release their debut full-length LP entitled Wild Child on January 22 (Carved Records). The band will also be making their late night television debut performing their single ”Last One Leaving” on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 8th (12/11 CT). Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown are touring North America right now. Their remaining tour dates through December are below!
At 21-years-old, Tyler Bryant has already shared the stage with legends like Aerosmith, Jeff Beck, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton and Heart and is featured in the award winning film, “Rock Prophecies.” Along with his talented bandmate peers Caleb Crosby (drums), Noah Denney (bass) and guitarist Graham Whitford (son of Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford), the quartet pushes the limits of music and performance, and has captured the attention of fans and industry alike with their spectacular talent and rare showmanship. Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown took 2011 by storm, releasing their first EP My Radio in March 2011, followed by a 7-track album From The Sandcastle in September 2011. With a rollicking SXSW performance under their belts this past March, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown have drawn comparisons to the emerging rock scene coming out of Nashville right now including bands like Cage The Elephant and the Black Keys.
Their shin-shattering debut full-length Wild Child is a 12-cut collection that the band cut to a 2-inch tape, a culmination of intense bonding, both musically and physically, between Tyler and his bandmates. Single ”Last One Leaving” is the classic story of love lost, told with rootsy guitars and heavy drums. ”You Got Me Baby” packs a punch with a freewheeling chorus and energetic guitar solos, while ”Cold Heart” is the record’s volatile and raucous anthem, best listened to on high volume.
